It all started when...

thirteen year old Andy had his first DJ'ing gig!  From there his passion for providing the Ohio Valley with carefully selected music of the best quality grew.   Young Andy talked his parents into fronting him the money to start his DJ business by using money set aside for college.  He "promised" to pay his mom and dad back as he continued to book events by providing the best sound around and hence the "Sound of Promise" DJ business was started.  After graduating from The Ohio State University and traveling the country with his first job, Andy decided to return home and continued to provide his DJ service to hundreds of weddings and events.  Over the years, the DJ business grew and expanded with the help of his wife Erica.  Erica also graduated from The Ohio State University and returned home where she practices as a dentist in St. Clairsville.  Quickly after meeting Andy, the two launched themselves into full wedding planning, consulting, and decorating.  Erica's eye for design and attention to detail coupled with Andy's extensive background in weddings and events proved to be the perfect combination for the couple and their new business adventure.  

Creating a new event space in the Ohio Valley has been Andy's lifelong dream.  Together, the couple. which operates as Sound of Promise, LLC, will make The Market at Ebbert Farms the premier wedding and event venue.  Andy and Erica truly enjoy creating amazing events for their clients and look forward to working with you!
